Sheet Metal Vacuum Lifters for Steel Plate and Machine Loading

Compare sheet-metal lifting frames by sheet size, load, mains or battery supply and tilting. Find horizontal plate lifters and workstation configurations.

For steel or other metal sheet handling, match frame support and usable pad locations to every sheet format. A load rating alone does not address flexible sheets, narrow parts or clearance at a laser, saw or processing table.

Filters include documented loads and overlapping conditional ranges. A range does not guarantee its upper value for every workpiece. Check material, seal, orientation and complete configuration.

The suffix is not the workpiece size. For example, ETJS-C1000-5M lists a 4,900 × 1,360 × 820 mm equipment arrangement and a 6,000 × 2,000 mm maximum workpiece. Use the actual specification fields rather than decoding the model name.

Documented selection point

Avoid a trailing operating supply cable

ET-SM-BAT-1000-5M — Battery-Powered Sheet Metal Vacuum Lifter

Battery-powered 1,000 kg configuration; check charging and any configuration-specific external-air requirement.

Turn the sheet

ET-SM-FLIP-1000 — Tilting Sheet Metal Vacuum Lifter

Electrohydraulic-cylinder tilting, 1,000 kg and ten Ø250 mm pads.

Heavy horizontal plate

ET-SM-HD-6000 — Heavy-Duty Horizontal Steel Plate Vacuum Lifter

6,000 kg horizontal with the listed surface, vacuum and support requirements.

Long adjustable beam

ET-SM-TELE-100 — Telescopic-Beam Sheet Metal Vacuum Lifter

3–5 m main-beam adjustment and 1,000 kg rated load; workpiece limits still need the arrangement review.

Integrated workstation

ETJSB-D1000-B3M — Electric Jib Crane Vacuum System with Powered Slewing

1,000 kg system with 3 m jib, powered slewing and a separate lifting-stroke specification.

Two approved layouts for the 2,000 kg configuration

ET-SM-C2000-3M — Extended-Range Sheet Metal Vacuum Lifter — 20 × Ø200 mm or 16 × Ø250 mm pads are alternative configurations. Choose the layout that fits the sheet support requirement; do not invent an intermediate pad combination.

Select horizontal transfer and tilting separately

A frame with manual rotation is not necessarily a tilting frame. Several mains-powered records state that tilting does not apply to that configuration. When a rack-to-table turn is required, select a documented tilting device and confirm the angle, orientation rating and clearance through the turn.

Plan the complete sheet-loading sequence

Does a vacuum frame separate a single sheet from a stack?

Not automatically. Include separation or double-sheet detection as an explicit requirement if your process needs it.

What happens when some pads are shut off?

The permitted load and distribution need reassessment for the reduced-pad arrangement. A pad isolation valve is not an unchanged-capacity approval.

Prepare a comparable quotation

Include material, sheet size/thickness/weight range, finish or oil/film, cutouts, stack height, destination table and required motion. Add crane capacity, available utilities and any sheet-separation requirement.
