Stop and record the symptom
If grip or indication does not meet the operating instructions, stop using the equipment and follow its prescribed procedure to make the load and system safe. Do not bypass alarms or protective devices to continue a lift.
The useful starting point is when the fault occurs: before contact, while building vacuum, during movement or after a workpiece change. Record what happened without recreating an unsafe event.
A support record that helps isolate the cause
Observation | Record |
|---|---|
Identity | Model, serial number, pad/head configuration and relevant accessories. |
Vacuum indication | Readings and alarm text, with the stage of operation. |
Workpiece | Material, dimensions, weight, surface and whether the symptom affects every piece. |
Utilities | Specified and observed supply information, charging state or air supply as relevant. |
Visible condition | Pad/seal, hose, filter and connection observations made using the approved inspection procedure. |
Recent change | New material batch, part replacement, service action or changed setup. |
Use photos and video without reproducing a hazardous lift
Show the machine identification, full arrangement and affected part. A clear close-up and overview often help more than a moving video. Do not put anyone near or beneath a suspended load to obtain evidence.
Agree the action before return to service
Send the record to Jenny with the equipment identification. The next step may be a specified inspection, compatible replacement part or service procedure. A larger pump is not a general remedy for leakage, contact or control faults.

Field | Your observation |
|---|---|
Equipment | Model, serial number, installed head and order reference. |
Stage | Before contact / vacuum building / holding / travel / release. |
Indication | Exact gauge reading, alarm text and whether the pump continues to run. |
Pattern | Every workpiece or one surface/batch; when it first occurred. |
Change | Last part replacement, workpiece change or setup change. |
Current state | Equipment stopped and isolated as instructed; action already taken. |
An observation such as “vacuum drops after changing to a coated pane” is more useful than “weak suction.” Report it as an observation, not a diagnosis. Do not carry out a loaded trial to recreate the fault for a video.
