Fix the required operating point
Provide glass weight and dimensions, installation height, forward reach and final orientation. Include the access route and ground conditions. Comparing machines with different usable capacity at your working point can make a cheaper quotation unsuitable for the job.
Cost item | What to compare |
|---|---|
Machine and chassis | Specified model, drive/travel arrangement and operating limits. |
Positioning | Arm extension, tilt, rotation, side shift and whether movements are powered. |
Vacuum equipment | Pad/frame layout, circuits, controls and documented accessories. |
Power and charging | Supplied batteries/charger, destination supply and included equipment. |
Transport | Packing dimensions/weight, loading and unloading arrangements, destination and agreed delivery terms. |
Handover | Applicable documents, instruction, acceptance scope and spare parts. |
Identify exclusions before comparing price
Ask each supplier to mark included, optional and excluded items. Site lifting arrangements, special frames, transport and commissioning can materially change the scope. Record the model and configuration revision on the comparison sheet so later changes remain visible.
Use your own inputs for ownership cost
Consider purchase and delivery, site preparation, consumables, energy, maintenance and expected utilization. Keep labour and downtime assumptions visible. A general saving percentage or a demonstration from another site is not an economic result for your project.
Prepare a quotation request that can be priced
- Pane range and required operating positions, with a site sketch.
- Doorway and turning dimensions, floor/ground information and unloading method.
- Required movements and specific accessories.
- Quantity, destination and required project documents.
- Proposed acceptance task and commercial items to be stated in the offer.
Why two 800 kg quotes can cover different machines
Model / configuration | Maximum rated load | Pad configuration | Side turning | Equipment weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
800 kg | Ø400 mm × 6 | Left 90° / right 15° | 1925 kg | |
800 kg | 500 × 800 mm × 2 | 90° to each side | 2190 kg |
WSR-800L and WSR-800LA share the 800 kg headline but differ in pad geometry, side turning and machine weight. WSR-800LA also lists vertical fine adjustment. State which movements and contact arrangement the job needs before treating a price difference as a discount.
Use the quotation as a comparison worksheet
Record for every offer | Useful response format |
|---|---|
Exact configuration | Model, pad arrangement and selected options. |
Required working point | Confirmed load-chart position for your pane. |
Supply and delivery | Included / optional / excluded, with destination and terms. |
Site and handover | Named responsibilities, documents and acceptance tasks. |
Commercial response | Dated quotation with validity, schedule and warranty scope. |
Request an itemized offer for the selected machine, attachments, delivery destination and handover scope. Compare offers against the same load, working positions and included equipment.

Questions for this equipment decision
Which robot features and delivery items affect the cost?
Chassis, positioning movements, vacuum equipment, batteries, optional drives and delivery arrangements affect cost.
What affects the price and delivery scope of a glazing robot?
Chassis, required load and reach, powered positioning functions, pads, battery and transport arrangements affect the quotation. Describe the actual installation task and destination. Request a clear list of included accessories, documents, handover arrangements and delivery terms; price and lead time are confirmed for the selected supply scope.
